For God chasers, christianity is not like every other religion.
It is a life handed down, birthed under the auspices of the HolyGhost through the vehicle of the Christ
Therefore, if so be it then that Christianity is a life,
It is living hence organic overfull with experiences and tangibilities.
Also, embedded therein is such magnificent essence, extraordinarily robust in reality,
And so, seeing such hope and bounties that God had made when He sent Jesus;
We approach without fear but with utmost reverence and sobriety
Hebrews 11:6b“ for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”
Not a Casual Seeker; God chasers
2 Timothy 2:4 “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life;
that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier”
God intends to make out a witness when He calls a man to walk with Him.
It is such journey that begins at new birth
Neither does it stop there but continues and intensifies
as the one who has truly professed Jesus as Lord and Savior continues following.
Because following God entails an intentional involvement and partnership
And as such, we don’t find God on the Famous Wall Street, even if we do
Someone gave Him access via his vessel
Consequently, we cannot remove God from every experience and living.
It seems as if our life would go into shatter if we ever lose that fresh touch His bountiful presence pours out.
The God Chasers men are not normal in any way
They strive to shed off every trace of complacency and satisfaction outside of God
Infact, it instills an understanding, in that it is possible to claim
total independence and aloof away from God and His sustaining economy.
Be it as it may, no believer can really survive and be sustained outside of God’s presence.
The God Chasers are bombarded with such mind; and hence a strong root to their pursuit of God.
We do not talk of something mechanical or something defined.
We talk of a life; a true and living experience.
The Way Out; God chasers
Why do some believers come into this reality and some others do not?
Is God partial?
Even the scriptures says
Rom.2.11 “For there is no respect of persons with God”
I’ve often wondered why, maybe they saw something others didn’t see
If so be it then, apprehension comes by sight
Or could it be an act of God’s mercy
Rom.9.16 “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy”
But even mercy doesn’t happen in limbo, if mercy was shown something was judged
For example for God to show me mercy and not allow food collect my destiny
He might bring a judgment on gluttony and riotous living
The way He chooses to do that is left to His sovereignty but am sure He will take away money from my hands🤔
That’s why people of great depth had a turning point; when the Lord brought an encounter.
They cry persistently, almost like something would go wrong if their voices are not heard
Such is only obtainable for God chasers
Often times we don’t know “the end game” but we are assured of one thing
We are not alone, we keep pursuing as the Spirit woos
Like Abraham, we are in search of a city whose builder and maker is God
Sufficient to be God chasers per adventure we might apprehend that for which Christ apprended us.
Conclusion
The world is fast spiraling, the die is cast and there must be a clear demarcation
Elijah speaking to the children of Israel said, for how long will you be limping between two opinions
If it’s God follow Him, if it’s baal then ball it is
Are you a God chaser intensify, do you want to become one, help is near
In all, remember no God chaser ever wasted their time
Matthew 19:29 “And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren,
or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands,
for my name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
