The Path Of the Spirit is one of a continuous and persistent journeying.
If so be it then that it is a path then necessity is laid on the just to find it
And he can only find it as the Spirit leads him.
Truly no one can walk this path, no one has the compass, knows the nitty gritty
Except the HolyGhost and He alone draws whom He will
Songs of Solomon 1:4 “ Draw me, we will run after thee:
the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee
A Walk With Him, The Path Of the Spirit
Sometimes, we come with baggages and layers of weights
Which might look very good and profound in our eyes,
Only to find out that heaven is shaking their heads wondering what’s wrong with us😭
There’s even been times we felt we knew where we were going or what we were doing
The Spirit alarm blaring heavily, a few taps and nudges by angels yet
We couldn’t pick because we do not have an antenna and even in situations when we did,
we didn’t know how to tune in to the frequency of God
And even when we did tune in, distractions blurred our vision covering our sight
Every believer must have been there until they became intentional in their walk with God
If we must walk with God, then we must have to find the path of the Spirit
1st Corinthians 2:11 “ For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him?
even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God”
God is King, His is Pre-eminent too; a God that dwells in His own realm.
If we will follow Him, it will mean that we must come to the end ourselves.
Our wisdom, our plans, our strategies must come to an end.
The scripture didn’t promise us a bed of roses and floor of scently petals
However, the assurance we have as believers is that we won’t miss it if we follow the path of the Spirit.
Followership; The Path Of the Spirit
The path of the Spirit is that of followership.
If it is Gods then it has to be by His Spirit without mincing words
Have you ever been taking a walk somewhere, hands in your pocket with a demure smile on your face.
You walked briskly, deep down in your mind you felt like you knew where you were going.
Like you could literally, defend yourself in a competent court of justice that you knew your way around.
Unbeknownst to you, you’ve missed your way only to arrive at a dead end.
It is not with man to order his steps, it can never.
It is with Jesus on the journey of the Spirit that’s how we get to the finish line untethered.
And how glorious are His paths.
1Cor.2.9 “But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard,
neither have it entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him”
Conclusion
The path of the Spirit is a journey that the believer takes,
assured that if it is with the Spirit we will get to the finish line.
1st John 3:3 “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”
Living our lives in thanksgiving; in response to this great and loving act of God.
For God has counted it wise and good, to avail Himself and reveal himself to us.
